Trama

Dave Anderson e Manny Durrell sono due ladri di alto livello che non sono mai stati catturati, mentre Joshua Burke è un detective in pensione che ha prove sufficienti su entrambi per metterli in prigione. Invece, si offre di mantenere il silenzio se i truffatori andranno dritti e lavoreranno in un centro per delinquenti. Ausgetrickst (A Piece of the Action) ist eine US-amerikanische Krimikomödie von Sidney Poitier aus dem Jahr 1977, in der er und Bill Cosby die Hauptrollen spielen. Es ist nach Samstagnacht im Viertel der Schwarzen (1974) und Drehn wir noch’n Ding (1975) der dritte Film, bei dem Cosby und Poitier zusammenarbeiteten. Die Filme sind als Trilogie angelegt, obwohl die Schauspieler in jedem Film Charaktere mit anderen Namen darstellen. Nach diesem Film widmete sich Poitier nur der Regie und war deshalb für mehr als zehn Jahre nicht als Schauspieler zu sehen.

A Piece of the Action is a 1977 American crime comedy film directed by and starring Sidney Poitier and co-starring Bill Cosby. It was the third film pairing of Poitier and Cosby, following Uptown Saturday Night (1974) and Let's Do It Again (1975). The films are considered a trilogy, even though the actors play characters with different names in each film. It was also Poitier's last acting role for more than a decade, as he focused his attentions on directing.
