Bill Oberst Jr. (* 21. November 1965 in Georgetown, South Carolina) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler deutscher Abstammung, der durch seine Auftritte in vielen Horrorfilmen bekannt wurde.
Leben und Karriere
Oberst wurde in Georgetown, South Carolina geboren, wo er auch aufwuchs. Er hat einen Abschluss von der University of South Carolina. Seit seiner frühesten Jugend ist er als Theaterdarsteller aktiv und stellte mehrere historische Persönlichkeiten dar, u. a. Mark Twain, Abraham Lincoln und John F. Kennedy. Er entwickelte außerdem die Show Stand Up! When Comedy Was Funny.
Seit 2006 ist Oberst auch in Film und Fernsehen zu sehen. Er war seitdem in über 100 Filmen und Serien zu sehen. 2014 war er neben Adrienne Barbeau und Tobin Bell in einer Folge der US-Serie Criminal Minds zu sehen. Für seine Rolle in Take this Lollipop wurde er außerdem mit einem Emmy ausgezeichnet.

William Oberst Jr. (born November 21, 1965) is an American stage, film and television actor of German descent.[1] Known for his work in horror and cult films, his career includes projects in film, television and one-man-show theater performances.[2] He first received recognition for his portrayals of icon and humorist Lewis Grizzard as performed in theatrical tours across the Southern United States.[3] His role as the creepy 'Facebook Stalker' in the online interactive video film Take This Lollipop, which uses the Facebook Connect application to bring viewers themselves into the film through use of their own pictures and messages from Facebook,[4][5] brought him widespread attention after the project received multiple Webby Awards nominations,[6] three awards at SXSW,[7] and a 2012 Daytime Emmy Award.[8][9]Другой контент может иметь иную лицензию.
