Allen Baron (born 1927 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor, film and television director. He is mostly known for writing and directing the 1961 film noir Blast of Silence, in which he also plays the lead role. He went on to direct four other feature films and hundreds of episodes for television shows such as Charlie's Angels, The Dukes of Hazzard, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, The San Pedro Beach Bums, and Cagney & Lacey.
