Angel Bonanni (Hebrew: אנחל בונני; born 7 February 1972) is an Israeli actor and model.[1][2] He is known for his role as Assassin Deacon Mailer in the series Condor, and as Detective Tommy Gibbs in the series Absentia.

Bonanni was born in Uruguay, and raised in Australia, to a family of Jewish background. He immigrated to Israel at the age of eleven.
Bonnani began his career as a top model, appearing in fashion campaigns for Jean Paul Gaultier, Donna Karan and Banana Republic as well as appearing in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar.[3][4]
Bonanni was cast in English language films and television productions from the 2010s.[5] Bonanni played Yoni Netanyahu in Seven Days in Entebbe.[6] He has had lead or recurring roles in Condor, Absentia, Shots Fired and False Flag.[7][8]

Angel Bonanni may have been born in Uruguay, but he moved to Israel at a young age, and got his first big breaks in Israeli TV. Bonanni appeared in a long series of Israeli programs, and in 2015, he starred in the Keshet program False Flag, which received much critical acclaim, appeared at festivals around the world and was picked up by Fox. Since then, Bonanni has appeared in a series of Hollywood productions, including playing Yoni Netanyahu in the 2018 film Entebbe. Last year, the actor starred in the AXN series Absentia, and he appeared in four episodes of the 10-part Fox miniseries Shots Fired. Currently, Bonanni can be seen in the Audience Network’s Condor, which just wrapped up its first season on the air.

Angel Bonanni has landed a role in the Jose Padilha-directed drama Entebbe, written by Greg Burke.
