Ayça Ayşin Turan (born 25 October 1992; Turkish pronunciation: [ɑjˈtʃɑ ajʃin tuɾɑn]) is a Turkish actress. She is known for her role as Meryem in Meryem , as Leyla Sancak in the Netflix series The Protector opposite Çağatay Ulusoy and Haziran Sedefli Özgür in the Star TV series Ada Masali alongside Alp Navruz.

Her mother is from the city of Sinop. Her maternal family is of Turkish descent, all of whom immigrated from Thessaloniki, Greece to mainland Turkey after the Greek conquest of the city when the Ottoman Empire collapsed. Her father is from Kastamonu.[4] She is the youngest among seven siblings (5 boys and 2 girls). Turan became interested in acting and violin at a young age. She later studied film at the Department of Radio, TV and Cinema, Faculty of Communication, Istanbul University.[5][6][7][8]
