Joseph Chapman is an American film and television actor. He is known for playing the villainous character "Mark St. Claire" in the American soap opera television series Knots Landing.[1][2][3] Chapman guest-starred in television programs, including partial appearances as "Carter Anderson III" in Airwolf, "Bradley Stivers" in Riptide and as "Freed" in Hill Street Blues. He also appeared in the 1984 film Crimes of Passion, where he played the role of "Walt Pierson".[4] Chapman starred in the television miniseries Favorite Son, where he played the role of "Rodgers". His final credit was from the medical drama television series Providence.[4]
