Marek Koterski (born 3 June 1942, in Kraków) is a Polish film and theatre director, screenwriter, actor and playwright.

In 1972, he graduated in directing from the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź.[1] Initially, he made documentaries, but gained recognition in Poland thanks to the autobiographical tragicomedy Dom wariatów (1984).
Other particularly awarded films by Koterski include Life Inner (1986, awarded with the Silver Gdańsk Lions), We're All Christs (2006, award for directing at the Polish Film Festival)[2] and 7 feelings (2018, Special Jury Prize at the Polish Film Festival).[3][4]
His son Michał Koterski is an actor.[5]
