Priyanka Arul Mohan also known as Priyanka Mohan (born 20 November 1994) is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her acting debut with the Kannada film Ondh Kathe Hella in 2019. She went onto star in Telugu films such as Nani's Gang Leader (2019) and Sreekaram (2021), and later Tamil films such as Doctor (2021), Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022), and Don (2022).

In this Indian name, the name Arul Mohan is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Priyanka.

Early life


Priyanka Arul Mohan was born to a Kannada mother and a Tamilian father.[1][2] Priyanka did her early education in Chennai and completed her engineering degree in biotechnology from PES Institute of Technology (PESIT).[citation needed]


Career


Priyanka made her debut in the Kannada film Ondh Kathe Hella in 2019.[3] Later that year, she starred in the Telugu film Nani's Gang Leader.[4] She also shot for the English version of the bilingual film Mayan; however, the film was delayed.[5]

In 2021, she made her Tamil debut with Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.[6] She played the lead female role in her second Tamil film Etharkkum Thunindhavan with director Pandiraj, starring Suriya.[7] The film became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2022, grossing over ₹175 crore.[8] She also played the lead in the Tamil film Don, with Sivakarthikeyan after Doctor.Now she is working alongside dhanush in the upcoming film Captain Miller[9]
