Wall is from Ennistymon,[4] and attended Ennistymon CBS.[5]
Wall trained unofficially with the Druid Theatre Company in Galway, with walk-on parts.[6][4] A lack of acting jobs led him to forming a band.[4]
He was a musician and singer songwriter with Irish bands The Walls and The Stunning.[7]
Wall tried screen acting in the early 2000's, but was encouraged to return to it in the 2010's.[6] His first audition was for Moone Boy, landing the role of Danny, the title character's rock and roll uncle.[6]
In 2015, he played a Mountie, in TG4's An Klondike, a bi-lingual drama series.[8]
He has also done voiceover work.[9]
Wall will play the cowboy Thin Kelly in The English for BBC/Amazon Prime in late 2022.
