Zhalay Sarhadi, also spelled Zille Sarhadi, (born on June 11, 1981)[1] is a Pakistani television actress, model and former VJ.[2] She has worked in several successful television series. Her notable performance includes in the series, Uraan (2010), Madiha Maliha (2012), Aks (2012), Digest Writer (2014), Rang Laaga (2015), Nazo (2015) and Yaar Na Bichray (2021).[3][4][5][6] She received Lux style award nomination for her performance in Chalay Thay Sath.[7]

Personal life


Sarhadi is married to Amir Anees and has a daughter Anaya. She is the niece of television actor Khayyam Sarhadi and granddaughter of Zia Sarhadi.[1]


Career


Zhalay started as an actress. Later she began modeling, appearing in magazines like Libaas and on the ramps.[8] She hosted a reality show Shaadi Online on Geo TV[9] and acted different serials.[10] She did an Item number titled 'Jawaani' in a Pakistani film Jalaibee in 2015. Zhalay is also featuring in Kashan Admani's debut film as a director, Carma - The Movie.[11] The movie is set to release in 2022.[12] The movie also features Adnan Siddiqui, Naveen Waqar, and Osama Tahir in lead roles.
