Carrera
Luego de desempeñarse en el mundo del stand-up comedy a comienzos de la década de 1990 en los estados de Colorado y Washington, Diaz se trasladó a Los Ángeles en 1995 donde empezó a trabajar como actor, apareciendo en papeles de reparto en producciones como My Name Is Earl, The Longest Yard, Spider-Man 2 y Taxi.[2]
En 2010 logró reconocimiento comercial con su aparición en el podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.[3][4] Entre 2012 y 2020, Diaz presentó su propio podcast, titulado The Church of What's Happening Now. En octubre de 2020 inició una nueva producción similar, de nombre Uncle Joey's Joint.[2]
