After the release of Vitamin She, Faisal directed his second Gujarati language feature film Daud Pakad, a comedy Thriller film. For Daud Pakad, he joined hands with his long time friends and very famous south Indian action directors Anbariv for a quality stunt work. The film is yet to release.[9]

Faisal and Dhvanit again joined hands for the first ever Gujarati sci-fi feature film Short Circuit.[10] It was the first film that used high end technical crew from Bollywood as well as South India.[11] The film received positive review from critics as well as audience upon its release and praised for its direction, plot, VFX and performances [12] and had a successful run at the box office.[13]
