Kim Bass (born 1955 or 1956)[1] is an American TV and film writer, producer, and director. His television work includes creating Sister, Sister and writing on In Living Color.[2] He also created the Nickelodeon sitcom Kenan & Kel.[3][4] His film credits include the movie Junkyard Dog starring Vivica A. Fox, and Kill Speed.[5][6]

Bass is one of the founders of independent production company Bass Entertainment Pictures.[6]

He was born in Utica, New York[1] and is a 1974 graduate of Notre Dame Junior Senior High School.[7][8] He was born to father C.W. Bass and has one brother, Kyle, and four sisters.[9]
