Overview

The series is partially based on the June 29, 2010 disappearance of Viviana Haeger, in Puerto Varas, Chile. Montes, the mother of two daughters, was married at the time to Jaime Anguita. When her body was found in the attic of her Puerto Varas home August 10, 2010, it was first thought to be suicide, and then murder. Her husband was charged along with an accomplice. The accomplice was sentenced to ten years in prison while the husband was acquitted because of a lack of evidence.[1] Rodrigo Fluxá, the author of a book entitled Usted sabe quién: notas sobre el homicidio de Viviana Haeger on the investigation and trial,[5] also collaborated on the series.[1]
