Bhookamp (transl. Earthquake) is a 1993 Bollywood action film, produced by Markand Adhikari under the Sri Adhikari Brothers banner and directed by Gautam Adhikari. It stars Jeetendra, Rahul Roy, Mamta Kulkarni, Deepa Sahi in the pivotal roles and music composed by Jatin–Lalit.[1] This was the debut movie for villain Mohan Joshi, prior to that, he had worked in Marathi movies. Bhookamp is a crime thriller, made on the International Drug cartel, Syndicate, operating in India, through Extortion, in local parlance, the "Supari" killers.[2]

Prof Ajay Saxena a noble teacher newly arrives in the city which is under the severe threat of the mafia but remains calm and proceeds forward. He acquires a job in a reputed college owned by a crippled righteous Mahendra Khanna and accommodates Mrs. D’Sa mother of a meritorious student Johnny. Besides, Daya Patil, a detrimental hoodlum conducts a high level of drug trafficking associating goons Ramniklal and Mahesh Shah. Ajay's close friend Editor Satyajit Anand a candid journalist aims to expose their enormities. Inspector Rahul former student of Ajay moves in his footsteps and gallantly encounters Daya Patil. Once, Johnny red-handedly proves the mischief of his reprobate collegian Jaggi nephew of Ramniklal. Begrudged Jaggi makes him the scapegoat for drugs which leads to his death when Ajay strikes Jaggi as a result, he is fired. Moreover, Satyajit & D'Sa is slaughtered by the treacherous, witnessing all of Ajay explodes. Then, Mahendra Khanna appoints him as a hitman because his daughter is also a victim of drugs. Immediately, Ajay starts his murder spree and destroys the anti-social elements along with their racket. Knowing it, Rahul challenges him to apprehend him. Ultimately, Ajay is startled to realize Mahendra Khanna is a real convict behind drug trafficking who has freeloaded him against his enemies. He also identifies him as the homicide of Satyajit one that falsified crippled. At last, Ajay ceases him too and surrenders. Finally, the movie ends with the judiciary penalizing life to Ajay and Rahul continues his mission.
