The film has a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 21 reviews with an average rating of 4.8/10.[8] Nell Minow of RogerEbert.com awarded the film one and a half out of five stars.[9] Tara McNamara of Common Sense Media awarded the film two stars out of five.[10]
