Ini Utharam (transl. Now answer) is an Indian Malayalam-language thriller film directed by Sudheesh Ramachandran (in his directorial debut) and written by Ranjith Unni. It stars Aparna Balamurali, Harish Uthaman, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Chandhunadh, Siddique, Jaffar Idukki and Siddharth Menon. The music was composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The film was released on 7 October 2022.[1]

Production

The film marks the directorial debut of Sudheesh Ramachandran, who was an assistant director and later chief associate director of Jeethu Joseph. According to him, "it is a thriller backed by emotions". Ranjith Unni wrote the screenplay. The film was produced by Arun and Varun under the banner A & V Entertainments. Cinematography was handled by Ravichandran and Jithin D. K. edited the film. The principal roles were played by Aparna Balamurali, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Harish Uthaman, and also features Chandhunadh, Sidharth Menon, Siddique, Jaffar Idukki, Dinesh Prabhakar, Shaju Sridhar, Jayan Cherthala, and K. Bhagyaraj.[3]

The film completed its shooting at Dhoni, Palakkad.[4] Filming was completed in the first week of June 2022.[5]

Soundtrack

Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music and the lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar.[6][7]

Release

The film was set for its release on 16 September 2022.[8]
