Khal-Naaikaa (transl.Lady Villain) is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language thriller film, produced and directed by Saawan Kumar under the Saawan Kumar Productions banner.[1] It stars Jeetendra, Jayaprada, Anu Aggarwal and music composed by Mahesh - Kishore. It is loosely based on the 1992 Hollywood film The Hand That Rocks the Cradle.[2][3][4][5]

Plot


The film begins with a couple, Ravi Kapoor & Jaya who lives light-heartedly with a daughter and newborn boy. Once, Jaya consults a gynecologist Dr. Rajan Bakshi who sexually abuses her in the name of treatment. So, Ravi & Jaya unveils his abominable shade through their friend Nisha Sharma a journalist. Dr. Rajan commits suicide out of obloquy and his wife Anuradha goes through a miscarriage in that trauma. Thus, Anuradha vengeance on Kapoor’s family and joins as a governess to their child Kiran. Accordingly, she starts her mission by acquiring their credence. Firstly, break-up the mother & children’s relationship and also tries to entice Ravi. Once, the gardener Gangaram gets aghast observing Kiran feeding the baby. So, she makes him fire with foul play. Moreover, she poisons Jaya's mind by concocting an affair between Ravi & Nisha. Meanwhile, Nisha discovers the reality of Kiran but she gets slaughtered. However, Jaya digs the actuality with the help of Gangaram but, Kiran flees. The same night, psychic Anuradha / Kiran breaks into their house when Ravi confronts her but he is knocked down. Then, she drubs Jaya and tries to escape with the children claiming them as her own. At last, enraged Jaya hurls her and she dies falling from the terrace. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of the family.
