Khufiya (transl. Secret) is an upcoming Hindi-language neo-noir spy thriller film written, produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.[1] Based on Amar Bhushan's espionage novel Escape to Nowhere, it stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Azmeri Haque Badhon and Alexx O'Nell.[2][3] The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix[4] later this year.

Premise


Krishna Mehra is an operative at the Research & Analysis Wing. She is assigned to track down the mole selling India's defense secrets, while grappling with her dual identity as a spy and lover.

Principal photography began in October 2021.[7][8] The final schedule of the film commenced from April 2022.[9][10][11]

The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2022.[13]
