Madadgaar (transl. Friend) is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by Nirmal Anand under the BNT Films banner and directed by Ramesh Puri. It stars Jeetendra, Sulakshana Pandit in the pivotal roles and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal.

Anand a sedulous truck driver squabbles with a naughty girl Sunita daughter of a multi-millionaire Sohanlal and falls in love. Once, he affirms to his virtuous friend Advocate Gupta that he is only a guardian of Sunita's property which belongs to her grandfather. According to his testament, after getting married, Sunita empowers it, if any case of harm, it transfers to a trust to which Gupta is the chairman. Meanwhile, Sohanlal opposes the love affair with Sunita, when she defies, he breaks down with a heart attack and immediately shifted abroad. Then, Sunita plans to elope with Anand and asks him to wait at their hill station resort the day before. But Anand frankly divulges the fact to her family and they too accompany him. Thereby, spiteful Gupta intrigues a convict, Dr.Raj, to eliminate Sunita. However, she safely reaches the destination with memory loss. During that plight, Anand strives hard to retrieve her consciousness and also guards her against perils. Afterward, he detects a token number of a mental hospital patient where astoundingly Anand digs into the mystery that there are two Sunitas the twins. Further, Sunita-2 is grownup at the asylum under the care of Dr. V.K. Sharma. Through her, Anand understands that Raj has double-crossed Gupta, seized Sunita-1, and transposed her to acquire the property. Meanwhile, Sohanlal returns but unfortunately, he is killed by blackguards. At last, Anand makes a play, rescues Sunita, and ceases the baddies. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Anand & Sunita.
