Naruto Hichō (鳴門秘帖) is a Japanese jidaigeki or period drama that was broadcast in prime-time in 1977 to 1978.[1][2] It is based on Eiji Yoshikawa's novel Naruto Hichō.[3] The lead star is Masakazu Tamura.[4] Norizuki is an Oniwaban of Tokugawa Shogunate. He goes to Awa Province to investigate a conspiracy in the Tokushima Han.[5][6][7] There was a remake broadcast in 2018.[8]
