Ordinary Hero (Chinese: 平凡英雄) is a 2022 Chinese drama film directed by Tony Chan [zh] and starring Li Bingbing and Feng Shaofeng.[1][2] Based on the true story of the rescue of a Uygur boy with a broken arm from Hotan, Xinjiang, the film follows the story of a 7-year-old Uygur boy who broke his arm accidentally and completed emergency treatment across 1400 kilometers in eight golden hours.[1][2] The film was theatrically released on 30 September 2022.[2]
