Rajarshi Bhagyachandra of Manipur is a 2007 Manipuri documentary film directed by Aribam Syam Sharma.[1][2] It is produced by Films Division of India.[3] The film was selected in the non-feature section of the Indian Panorama at the 38th International Film Festival of India 2007. [4][5]

The film was screened at the 2nd Manipur International Documentary, Short and Animation Film Festival, 2010.[6] It was also among the selected special package of films under the title Colours of North East, organised by Films Division in November 2021 as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.[7][8]
The film narrates Rajarshi Bhagyachandra’s life as a Meitei warrior & king, a blessed vaishnav and religious reformer, a spiritual visionary and artiste par excellence. His creation of the Manipuri Raas stands as the most sublime of all the classical dances of India. He was and till today, considered a saint in the guise of a king, hence the title, Rajarshi. The film traces his exploits and achievements.
