Role Play is an upcoming American thriller film which will be directed by Thomas Vincent,[1] and starring and produced by Kaley Cuoco.[2]

On July 6, 2021, it was announced that Kaley Cuoco was in negotiations to star and produce a thriller film, written by Seth Owen.[2] On October 29, 2021, it was announced that Thomas Vincent would direct the film, and Cuoco's roles as actor and producer of the film where also confirmed.[1]

The upcoming film will be produced by Kaley Cuoco, Alex Heineman, and Andrew Rona.[2]


Casting


On October 29, 2021, it was confirmed that Kaley Cuoco would star in the film.[1]

In June 2022, it was announced that David Oyelowo was cast as Cuoco's characters husband,[3] and Billy Bob Thornton was cast as a "mysterious stranger who encounters the couple".[4]

In July, 2022, it was announced that Bill Nighy had joined the cast of the film, replacing Billy Bob Thornton,[5] and Connie Nielsen also joined the cast.[6]


Filming


The film begin principal photography in July 2022 at Babelsberg Studio in Berlin, Germany.[5]
