Rorschach is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language psychological action thriller film[1] directed by Nisam Basheer and written by Sameer Abdul, starring Mammootty in the lead role. The film is produced by Mammootty himself, under the banner Mammootty Kampany. While cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi and the film scores and songs are composed by Midhun Mukundan.

Rorschach is the second direction of Nisam Basheer, after Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha. The film is produced by Mammootty under the banner Mammootty Kampany, with NM Badusha as co-producer. The screenplay of the film is written by Sameer Abdul. Shaji Naduvil is the art director and Prashanth Narayan is the production controller of the film. Midhun Mukundan composed songs and scores for the film, which marks his debut in Malayalam cinema. Earlier he worked for the 2021 Kannada film, Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana.[4][5]

Filming

Principal photography began on 30 March 2022 with a switch-on ceremony held at Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala. Mammootty joined the sets from 3 April 2022. After the completion of the shoot in Kerala on 14 June 2022, the team moved to Dubai for a final two-week schedule.[6] On 1 July 2022, the production company informed the completion of the shoot by sharing a group photo of the team on social media.[7]
