Waltair Veerayya is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action film directed by K. S. Ravindra and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It stars Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Bobby Simha while Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore play supporting roles.

The film was announced in August 2021 with the tentative title Mega154. Principal photography commenced in December 2021 in Hyderabad. Filming also took place in Visakhapatnam. The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad with cinematography by Arthur A. Wilson. Waltair Veerayya is scheduled to release in January 2023 coinciding with the festival of Sankranti.
In August 2021, it was announced that Chiranjeevi and K. S. Ravindra would team up for a film tentatively titled Mega154 (intended to be 154th film starring Chiranjeevi) under the production of Mythri Movie Makers.[2][3] The film was formally launched in November 2021.[4] In April 2022, Chiranjeevi and Ravindra independently confirmed that the film is titled Waltair Veerayya.[5][6]
Ravindra wrote story and dialogue which is scripted Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy. Arthur A. Wilson is signed as the cinematographer while Niranjan Devaramane is the film's editor.[1]
In March 2022, Ravi Teja was approached to play an important role in the film.[7] In May, producer Y Ravi Shankar denied the rumors that Teja opted out the project, stating that he is on board and would join the production by June.[8] The film would mark Teja's reunion with Chiranjeevi following their previous collaboration Annayya (2000). Teja reportedly plays Chiranjeevi's brother, a police officer disguised as a mafia don.[9]
Actress Shruti Haasan was paired opposite Chiranjeevi,[10][11] Nawazuddin Siddiqui was approached play the film's antagonist, however, Siddiqui could not join due to scheduling conflicts. Bobby Simha was signed in his place.[8] Malayalam actor Biju Menon is also approached for the film, however, there is no confirmation on his inclusion.[12]
Principal photography commenced in December 2021 in Hyderabad.[13] In April 2022, the second schedule commenced with Haasan joining the sets in Vishakapatnam.[14][15] In July 2022, the third schedule commenced with Teja joining the sets.[16][17] A schedule is planned to take place in Malaysia.[18]
The film score and soundtrack is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The audio rights were acquired by Sony Music India.
Waltair Veerayya is scheduled to release in January 2023 coinciding with the festival of Sankranti.[19][20]
