Trama

Seo In-ha e Mun Hee-jae si conoscono da molto tempo, tuttavia dopo essersi dichiarato la ragazza rifiuta In-ha perché innamorata di un altro; dopo numerosi anni, In-ha è ancora innamorato, ma dato che un incidente d'auto ha ucciso il fidanzato e i genitori dell'amica, preferisce non "approfittare" della situazione. Hee-jae comprende infine che l'amore dell'amico era sincero, così i due si sposano e la giovane rimane incinta; poco dopo scopre tuttavia di avere un grave cancro allo stomaco, e di dover scegliere tra la propria vita e quella del bambino.

Scent of Love (국화꽃 향기 lit. Scent of Chrysanthemums) is a 2003 South Korean film, and the directorial debut of Lee Jeong-wook. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Kim Ha-in, and stars Jang Jin-young and Park Hae-il in the lead roles. Like her character, Jang Jin-young battled stomach cancer and died in 2009. The film received an around of 900,000 admissions nationwide and on May 16, 2003, the film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.[1]
