Trama
Il professore Lacombe invita l'antropologo Daninsky a partecipare ad una spedizione nell'Himalaya, per scoprire se effettivamente esista o meno la figura dello yeti. Giunti sul posto, i due studiosi rimangono intrappolati in una grotta, a causa del maltempo. Quivi, saranno attaccati da alcune licantrope.
Produzione
Le scene del Tibet sono state girate, in realtà, nella Catalogna, più precisamente nella Valle di Arán. Gli interni, invece, vennero ricostruiti negli Studi Profilmes di Barcellona.
Distribuzione
Nonostante in alcuni siti sia datato 1977[1], l'opera di Iglesias fu distribuita, in realtà, nel 1975. Fu presentato, in anteprima mondiale, al Sitges Film Festival.[2]
In Italia è stato edito in formato dvd. L'opera è vietata ai minori di 18 anni.

La Maldicion de la Bestia (The Curse of the Beast) is a 1975 Spanish horror film that is the eighth in a long series about the werewolf Count Waldemar Daninsky, played by Paul Naschy. The film has also been known as The Werewolf and the Yeti, Night of the Howling Beast and Hall of the Mountain King. [1] This film ignored the events from the earlier Hombre Lobo films and provided an all-new origin for Waldemar's lycanthropy, having the curse transmitted to Waldemar by the bites of two female werewolves. A yeti is woven into the storyline (as in The Fury of the Wolfman), but in this film the Yeti is not the direct cause of Waldemar's lycanthropy.
