André Kërr (Portuguese pronunciation: [andɾé kér]) is a Brazilian author, Vedic Astrologer, yogi, co-founder and president of the Brazilian Academy of Vedic Astrology (ABAV). His books are the most sold of the theme in Brazil and he is considered one of the greatest emissaries of jyotisha in Latin America.[1][2] He discussed about themes such as the Vedas, Hinduism, Christianity, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology in his works, and also promotes the Vedic knowledge as fruit of an advanced spiritual culture.[3] He is also known for his methods using artificial intelligence together with Vedic Astrology.[4]

Kërr grew up in ABC Paulista in a low middle-class Protestant family in Brazil and has two siblings. His father was an adventist pastor and his mother was a secretary of the automobile industry. His name was chosen by his father as a homenage of the auto racing driver Michael Andretti. Kërr showed intellectual giftedness since childhood, writing and reading at 3 years and was programming software and games since he was eleven.[4] He worked later in a creative sector in electronic music festivals, where he knew about the existence of the Vedic culture, because some of them were attempts to reproduce the Holi festivals of India. He started to learn Vedic Astrology with several gurus from USA and India, and after that specialized in Ayurveda.
Career
André Kërr started his career in 2014, first as a western astrologer, but quickly changed because he wanted a more astronomical and accurate way to calculate events. In 2017, he founded the Brazilian Academy of Vedic Astrology, and was elected its first president and re-elected again in this same position in 2022.[4] Just like the great B. V. Raman, he translated most of the jyotisha classics like Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Jaimini Sutras and many others into his own language, Portuguese, as well as his disciples. [4]
Kërr allegedly correctly predicted a number of world events, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, Jair Bolsonaro's skin cancer, the 2021 Palmas FR plane crash, 2021 European floods, Joe Biden election, 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the assassination of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Lula victory in 2022 Brazilian elections and many other predictions about Brazil and the world, attested by its thousands of followers on social networks.[4] This made him attract a clientele of influencers, Brazilian and Hollywood actors, politicians, diplomats, ambassadors and also all types of people who are in search of Self-knowledge.[4]
He is the teacher of Vedic Astrology who most trained Vedic astrologers who actually practice the profession in Latin America. [4]
