Forrest Pritchard (born June 1, 1974) is a New York Times bestselling author[1] and seventh generation sustainable farmer, living at Smithfield Farm in Berryville, Virginia, United States. He is a graduate of Episcopal High School and The College of William and Mary, where he won the Academy of American Poets prize in 1996.[2] His farm, called Smith Meadows,[3] was one of the first "grass-finished" farms in the country,[4] and sells at farmers' markets in the Washington, DC area.
