Hanli Rolfes (born 5 April 1971), is a South African actress and writer.[1] She is best known for the roles in the television serials such as, Getroud met rugby, Kruispad and Generations.[2][3][4]

Rolfes was born on 5 April 1971. In 1994, she graduated with an Honors degree in Drama from the University of Pretoria.[5]
She married Deon Opperman, a fellow actor and playwright in 2002, until they divorced in 2010.[6]
In 1995, she made her television debut the television serial Die Laksman produced by Scholtz Films, where she as Lieutenant Bernice Fox". In 1996, she joined the cast of the SABC1 soap opera Generations and played the role "Sarah-Lee Odendaal" for six consecutive years until 2001.[1] After that, she made many lead roles for the soapies and serials telecast on Afrikaans pay channel kykNET such as the role "Louise Schoeman" in Villa Rosa, as "Sophia Landman" in Kruispad, as "Sonja Mostert" in Binnelanders. In 2009, she co-created the soapie Getroud Met Rugby along with her husband Deon Opperman and in the soapie, she played the supportive role of "Lanie".[5][7]
In 2010s, she appeared in television serials such as, Justice For All, The Adventures of Sinbad, Vetkoekpaleis, Egoli,[8] Iemand om lief te hê, Jozi Streets, 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls, Askies!, Soul City, Skeem Saam, Hartland and Geraamtes in die Kas.[1] Apart from television, she performed in some stage plays such as Boesman my Seun (2005), Twaalfuurwals (2006), Kaburu (2007) and Knypie Oppie Kant (2008). In 2008, she joined with SABC2 game show Where Were You? as one of the contestant panelists. In 2012, she made film debut Sleeper's Wake with the role of "Jackie's Mom".[5] In 2016, she joined with SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan with the role "Anna van Biljon". Even though she retired from the role in 2016, she continued to work as the scriptwriter of the soapie.[9][10][11]
