Khan's mother died when he was very young, and his father was a lyricist in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He worked in advertising before he became a film director.
Sabbir Kham made his directing debut with Kambakkht Ishq which (transl. Damned love[3]) is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is based on the 2002 Tamil film Pammal K. Sambandam,[4][5] and features Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in pivotal roles along with actors Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora in supporting roles. Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh and Holly Valance appear in cameos, playing themselves. The film was released worldwide on July 3rd 2009.
Sabbir Khan then directed Heropanti. Heropanti (transl. Heroic antics) is an 2014 Indian Hindi-language action romance film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in their Hindi film debuts alongside Prakash Raj in a supporting role. The film was released Worldwide on May 23rd 2014. Made on a budget of 250 million INR, Heropanti earned over 780 million INR worldwide and over 529 million Indian Rupees nett domestically in India . Heropanti became a commercial success and became a HIT film.
Sabbir Khan then directed Baaghi. Baaghi (transl. Rebel) is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action thriller romantic film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.It stars Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu in his Hindi Debut in main leads. It also stars Sunil Grover in an Supporting Role. Made on a final budget of 370 million INR, The film earned over 1.27 Billion INR Worldwide becoming a Big Hit and a major commercial success.
Then he directed Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff, Nidhi Agerwal and Nawazuudin Siddiqui in main leads. Munna Michael is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action dance film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Viki Rajani and Eros International.[1] The film features Tiger Shroff in a lead role alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Niddhi Agerwal, The film was released on 21 July 2017. Nidhi Agarwal got Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Tiger Shroff dancing and action were highly appreciated and so was Nawazuudin’s character. However Munna Michael was unsuccessful at the box office.
Nikamma (transl. Useless) is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Sabbir Khan. It stars Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia and Shilpa Shetty. Nikamma was released theatrically on 17 June 2022 and received overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics and audience.[4] The film was highly unsuccessful at the box office.
