Bros is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Nicholas Stoller from a screenplay by himself and Billy Eichner. Stoller and Judd Apatow are producers on the film.[1] The film stars Eichner, Luke Macfarlane, Ts Madison, Monica Raymund, Guillermo Díaz, Guy Branum, and Amanda Bearse.

Production
On February 5, 2019, it was announced that Billy Eichner will write and star in a romantic comedy feature film, directed and co-written by Nick Stoller.[1] Principal photography was set to begin on June 7, 2021 in Buffalo, New York and Provincetown, Massachusetts.[3] Filming took place in various locations including in downtown Cranford, New Jersey.[4]
Most of the cast was revealed on September 23, 2021,[5] and September 30, 2021.[6] Bowen Yang and Harvey Fierstein were revealed to have joined the cast on November 4, 2021, and [7] Benito Skinner joined the cast the next day.[8]
The film is the first gay romantic comedy from a major studio featuring an almost entirely LGBTQ principal cast,[2][9] with the exception of Debra Messing and Kristin Chenoweth, whom Stoller calls "allies" of the community.[2]

The first trailer was released on May 18, 2022.[10]
Release
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 30, 2022, by Universal Pictures.[11] It was originally scheduled for release on August 12, 2022.[12]
