Matthe Hadithu Kogile (Kannada: ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಾಡಿತು ಕೋಗಿಲೆ) is a 1990 Indian Kannada film, directed by H. R. Bhargava and produced by S. Shankar. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Baby Shyamili, Anant Nag, Bhavya and Rupini. The film has musical score by Rajan–Nagendra.[1][2] The film was a romantic drama which was successful at the box office. Vishnuvardhan and Anant Nag, both superstars, co-starred together for the first time. They would follow it up a few years later with Nishkarsha.

Director Bhargava had revealed that he was so enchanted with the movie Naa Ninna Mareyalare on which he worked as an associate that he requested Chi. Udayashankar for a similar themed movie - a tragic love story between hero and heroine where the hero named Anand has a constant companion in the form of bike. Udayashankar handed over a story which he had written for Rajkumar who had rejected it citing he had already worked on a similar themed movie - a hero taking care of an abandoned child - in Devara Makkalu.[3]
Plot
Anand (Vishnuvardhan) is Stage Singer. He lives with his Best Friend Gopal (Ramesh Bhat). Sangeetha (Rupini) is a Daughter of Rich Businessman Vishwaprasad. Kavitha (Bhavya) is a Close Firend to Anand and she also secretly Loves Him but doesn't express her feelings to him. Sangeetha and Anand falls for each other but Sangeetha father dislikes Anand because, he fixes Sangeetha Marriage with His Business Partner Younger Brother NRI Businessman Prasan Kumar (Anant Nag).
Vishwaprasad mada a plan arranges Anand Concert in Chennai and arranges Sangeetha Marriage with Prasan Kumar. Anand went to stop Marriage but attacked by Vishwaprasad goons, Anand hit on head admitted to hospital. Sangeetha Married to Prasanna Kumar. Sangeetha take a Poison in First Night, Prasan Kumar admits her to Hospital. Anand Visits Sangeetha to take a Promise to don't try to Suicide again and accept Prasanna Kumar as her Husband.
After several Months Sangeetha die in Childbirth and Delivers a Babygirl. Prasanna Kumar faces problems to raise a Child, his Brother suggests him to marry again to raise a Child. Prasanna Kumar decide to marry a poor family girl for his Child benefit. He Married Savitha, Kavitha's younger sister. But after Marriage Savitha starts dislikes the Child and she leave home. So, Prasanna brother suggests to gave her daughter to adoption. Prasanna not agree to gave his Child to Adoption but Kavitha tells him about Anand and Sangeetha relationship and suggests him to gave his Child to Anand. Anand also likes to adopt Sangeetha Child.
Prasanna gave his Child to Anand. Anand names the a Pallavi and raises her like his own daughter. On the other hand Savitha faces abortion and she loses her Viterus. Prasanna and Savitha went to America.
After Six years grown Pallavi (Shamlee) and Anand were living very happy family. Anand teaches her Music and Dance. Prasanna and Savitha came back from America. They saw the Anand and Pallavi Singing Concert. Prasanna reveals her about Pallavi his own Daughter. Savitha likes Pallavi and requests Prasanna to bring her back to her house she will take care her Prasanna also want Pallavi. So he went to Anand Home request him for Pallavi. Anand Sadly gave Pallavi to Prasanna. Prasanna and Savitha bring Pallavi back to their family but Pallavi was sad she unable to accept them as her parents she still feels Anand as her own father. Next day Prasanna gave Cocktail Party to his friends in home. Pallavi accidentally drinks alcohol then become unconscious. Prasanna admitted her to Hospital. Anand sadly sing a song "Matte Haditu Kole" to wakeup unconscious Pallavi. Pallavi recovers from a song and ran towards Anand finally Prasanna realizes that only Anand can take care Pallavi so finally decided to don't interfere in Pallavi's life. After sometime Anand marries Kavitha. Anand singing with Pallavi in Stage.
