Poker Face is an upcoming American television series created by Rian Johnson for the streaming service Peacock. It is a "case-of-the-week" mystery comedy-drama.[1] Natasha Lyonne executive produces and stars in the series.[2]

Peacock announced the series in March 2021, with Lyonne attached and Johnson as director.[2] Nora and Lilla Zuckerman were named as co-showrunners.[2]

Poker Face will consist of 10 episodes and is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2023.[1][3]

According to Rian Johnson, the series will be a character driven, case-of-the-week mystery comedy-drama.[4]

Production


Filming is based in Newburgh, New York, and is expected to run from April through October 2022, in locations throughout the mid-Hudson Valley.[16] One episode of the series is expected to start filming in late August 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[17]


Release


Poker Face is set to premiere on January 26, 2023, with the first four episodes available immediately and the rest debuting on a weekly basis.[3]
