Rana Naidu[1] is an upcoming Indian action crime drama streaming television series on Netflix created and directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma.[2] Produced by Sunder Aaron under the banner Locomotive Global Inc.,[3] the series is an official adaptation of 2013 Showtime American crime TV series Ray Donovan.[4][5] It stars Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra and Surveen Chawla in lead roles.[6][7][8]

The official announcement of the series was made on 21 September 2021 by Netflix media press release.[9]


Filming


Principal photography commenced from October 2021.[10]The series was officially wrapped up shooting in May 2022.[11][12][13]


Marketing and release


In September, short clip from the makers released from Netflix Tudum.[14][15] The official teaser of the series was released by Netflix India YouTube channel in September 2022.[16][17] The series was scheduled to be released on Netflix in Hindi and Telugu.[18][19]
