Vaa Kanna Vaa is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by D. Yoganand and produced by Santhi Narayanasamy. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Sujatha, Major Sundarrajan and Jaiganesh. It is a remake of the Telugu film Raa Kanna Raa.[citation needed] The film was released on 6 February 1982.[1]

Naidu and Papa are an older couple that quarrel constantly but are devoted to each other. Ramu defies his rich father to marry Seetha and they eventually rent a room at Naidu and Papa's home. The older couple come to see Seetha as a surrogate daughter and are consequently drawn into the younger couple's lives.
The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Vaali.[2]
