Bryan Woods (born September 14, 1984) is an American film director and screenwriter born in Davenport, Iowa and raised in the neighboring community of Bettendorf. He co-writes and co-directs with filmmaking partner Scott Beck. Together they co-wrote and executive produced A Quiet Place for Paramount Pictures, in addition to writing and directing 65 starring Adam Driver, Haunt for producer Eli Roth, and Nightlight, a supernatural thriller for Lionsgate and Herrick Entertainment.[1]

In 2016, Woods and Beck sold their original screenplay for A Quiet Place to Paramount Pictures. The film, executive produced by Woods, Beck, Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes, stars Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, the latter of who also directed and co-wrote the script.[2] Paramount subsequently signed Woods and Beck to a blind script deal for a second project they will write and direct. A Quiet Place was released in April 2018 to critical acclaim with a Rotten Tomatoes approval rating of 95%. It became a major box office hit, grossing over $330 million worldwide.[3][4]
The duo also wrote and directed the thriller Haunt, produced by Eli Roth and Sierra/Affinity.[5] In June 2018, Woods and Beck signed on to adapt and executive produce Stephen King's short story The Boogeyman for 20th Century Fox and 21 Laps Entertainment.[6] In the television world, Woods and Beck developed the series Zeroes for Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment, based on the novel by New York Times best-selling author Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan, and Deborah Biancotti.
In May 2020, it was announced Beck & Woods would be writing, directing, and producing 65 for Sony Pictures and producer Sam Raimi.[7] The film will star Adam Driver.[8]
